Permanent hair removal with electrolysis
Electrolysis is a permanent way of removing unwanted hair. It is suitable for men and women. It is gentle, effective and a much more affordable solution, particularly on small areas like the chin or upper lip.
How does electrolysis work?
A tiny probe about the size of an eyelash is inserted into the hair follicle where a short burst of heat energy is targeted to the root of the hair. The burst of energy prevents nutrients feeding the hair follicle so that no growth is possible. The treatment will require a course as it is dependent on the hair growth cycle and therefore there may be regrowth, however the hair will become weaker and finer.
What will happen during my first appointment?
You will need to have a consultation to ensure the treatment is suitable for you. You will have a chance to ask any questions and experience a taster session.
What about hygiene?
Sterex single use, disposable needles are used to totally eliminate any risk of cross infection. For each client a new sterile probe is used and you will see the probe being opened in front of you.
Treatment Sessions
Depending on the area you want treated, they are booked as a course of ten and the appointment times are between 15 to 30 minutes.
